Sports and District Centre, Oberkassel 2017 

The unique location of the site with a view of the Rhine bend and the city skyline is responded to with a compact but expressive hybrid that unites all public uses. The construction is used as a means of creating identity. A spacious foyer running through the entire building, with a view of the Rhine, provides access both from Pariser Straße and from the dyke. The football pitch on the roof has the potential to become the coolest sports location in the city.
