Catic Zone Shenzen, China 2001 (1st prize) 

1300 apartments up to 350 sqm in size, including rooms for servants and kitchen balconies for the housing and slaughter of livestock on the 52nd floor, have been grouped together to create a large volume that defines and hierarchises the urban space. The street level can be used for trade, and a kindergarten, clubrooms and a wellness area are oriented towards the semi-public residential park.
