Living and working am Alsterfleet, Hamburg 1997 (2nd prize)

The fleet embankment populated with trees is supplemented by organic building structures. With their green copper shells, they form a contrast to the continuous line of brick buildings behind, yet are at the same time integrated sculpturally into the green of the trees and the materiality of the hanseatic tradition.
