Three community buildings HafenCity, Hamburg 2019 

The façade, use orientation and floor plan organisation respond to the exposed locations with a largely public. transparent appearance all around. A deliberately restrained solution was sought that, in terms of material and design, will age gracefully and thus sustainably. The roof overhang not only provides structural wood and summer heat protection, it also serves to create a flowing transition between the exterior and interior, thus enhancing the inviting character.
