Café in Jenischpark, Hamburg 2016

The building, which was shown at the IGA 1953 as a patented dismountable show greenhouse by the Hengesbach company and was rebuilt in Jenischpark in 1956, is to be renovated in accordance with the requirements of a listed building and supplemented by an adjacent, restrained new building. Through its allround orientation and accessibility, publicly perceptible relationships to the surrounding buildings will be established, which will lead through the café, continue in the planned arcade and enliven the north-western corner of Jenischpark.
