Sportmittelschule Goyastraße, Leipzig 2013

Goyastrasse secondary sports school, Leipzig 2013

The school building is designed as a compact three-storey structure that serves as a northern frame for the hospital park across the schoolyard. The three-court sports hall forms the content-related and structural center of the sports middle school, around which everything develops, supplemented by an auditorium and cafeteria. Naturally lit from above, this central area enriches school life with a variety of views across the different levels.
