Plenarsaal Schwerin 2011

Plenary Hall, Schwerin 2011

The Federal Parliament housed in the Palace of Schwerin disposes of a plenary area appropriate to parliamentary business in the early twenty-first century. The circular arrangement of the furnishings in the plenary hall was selected to reflect and inspire the exchange of ideas on an equal footing. The circular space aligned to the presidium receives MPs entering the plenary hall while its orientation to the landscape axis symbolizes the relevance to the entire federal state of all the decisions taken there.
