Fährhotel, Lühe 2011 

The boutique hotel lies between the Lühe and Elbe rivers. Its windows offer a view of container ships plying their trade or of the apple trees that fringe the small river. The dimensions of the building and the choice of materials articulate a respectful yet modern response to the region.
