Deutsches Schauspielhaus Theatre, Hamburg 2010 

A new stage tower will be constructed for the Deutsche Schauspielhaus. The design of its facade seeks to create a dialogue between the existing construction and the new one. The colour scheme of the existing axis, made of copper and slate, will thereby be highlighted and complementary materials used to incorporate it in the new scheme. The result will be a facade made of semicrystalline and translucent glass ceramic, with a dark grout background.
