Vocational training schools Anckelmannstraße, Hamburg 2010 

A new vocational school centre is being built in the Anckelmannstraße, which will be integrated in the existing urban landscape by the construction of two buildings on a lot currently used as a carpark. Together, the buildings will enclose the street area, thereby lending it a rhythmic structure, and define within it a central square that can be used for breaks between classes an open invitation to everyone who learns or teaches there.
