“Vertical Street” Ho Chi Minh City 2010 

At a workshop in Hanoi initiated by the Academy of Architectural Culture proposals were developed for a “German House” to be built in Ho Chi Minh City. Our design interprets the building as a vertical street with a dramatic, vertically unfolding air channel that facilitates a variety of spatial references, caters for local climatic conditions with a refined sustainable climatic concept, and opens up individual. signature locations for the Goethe Institute, the Consulate, the German Chamber of Trade and Industry and the German Business Association.
