Krückau-Vormstegen, Elmshorn 2009

The scheme for the former docks area on the River Krückau foresees an incremental development of the new structure with a mix of residential, service and commercial properties. An east-west oriented green swathe interlinks clusters built around squares. A continuation of the incoming access roads and their series of varied spaces connect the development area with the main part of town.
