House H, Bendestorf 2010

The alignment of the building arises from the addition of three cubes within a quadrate, which intersect, giving the ensemble a sculptural appearance. The design of the terraces, facing the north with a view into the valley, and the roof terrace (facing towards the south and the west). create a spatial differentiation in the building mass. The interior is dominated by a surprising contrast of light-coloured materials: Exposed concrete ceilings. rendered surfaces and polished industrial screed for the floors, create the desired “loft character”.
