Motorway church, Friedland 2006 (3rd prize) 

The containers desired by the authority initiating the competition have been positioned vertically and in a playful manner. Removed from their everyday context, they are a contemporary interpretation of the themes relaxation, contemplation and prayer. The daylight entering through the tubes gives the church a sacral, contemplative character.
