Redesign of the Spielbudenplatz, St. Pauli, Hamburg 2004

The Spielbudenplatz is to be transformed into a unique setting: an equinoctial location displaying an expanse of firmament that represents the starry night sky above the city of Hamburg. The stars make up the main lighting concept for the square. Other celestial bodies — the moon and the sun — are located on the concave top ends of the Spielbudenplatz.
