Moscow Malls, 2003

A law prohibiting street markets in Moscow led to the planning of a series of shopping centres. A simple and flexible basic system with a high identification rate made of squares of exposed concrete filled with industrial glass fillings formed the basis of a total of seven locations. The fillings are lit from behind with computer-controlled alternating colored lights.
