Technical production centre, 
Hannover 2001 (4th prize) 

The five to six storey buildings for the six technical production institutes and the proving grounds behind are situated along the existing windbreak of oak trees that give the site a clear identity. The existing institute building has been integrated into the overall urban site without its autonomy being questioned.  

The compact building style, its flexible and robust structure, the sustainable materials that have been used and the intelligent use of modern technology combine to form an economically and ecologically convincing solution.
