Extension of the Fördehalle, Flensburg 2000 

The stipulations for the existing hall for 2500 visitors required it to be enlarged to accommodate a capacity of 6500 visitors by means of an elongation and broadening of the space, and the raising of the roof, while still retaining its original character. A particular challenge was presented by the limited construction period available between the performances and the preservation of the entire existing roof.
