Verwaltungsneubau Norddeutschen Metall-Berufsgenossenschaft Hannover 1998 (1st prize)

Several clearly defined administrative units are lined up along a thoroughfare. Their main point of focus is a six-storey entrance hall. Public facilities such as a conference area, cafeteria, library and company sports facilities are located on the ground floor. The stainless steel façade, that is a reference to the metalwork companies that are insured here, stands in contrast to the warm wood in the building interior.
